If you are going to be heading through Orange City, you need to stop and visit Blue Spring State Park. This is a location that is considered by many to be one of the nicest parks in all of Florida. There are so many outdoor activities that you can do which will include fishing, hiking and camping. There is a beautiful river, swimming area, and if you have never been there before, it’s just outside of Orlando which makes it the perfect place to not only get back in touch with nature, but then head south to check out some of the amusement parks.
You can always plan your trip so that you can see a wide variety of Florida without having to travel in significant distance. Most people will simply travel into Orlando to see the parks, and then spread out from there to go to places like Daytona Beach.
